Alfred Beam Excavating Limited has served the Niagara Region since 1976.  Founder and current President, Alfred Beam began the company with one excavator, a float and just one employee.

Our Company has since grown and expanded to include more than 80 pieces of earth moving machinery, a fleet of 70 vehicles and over 120 full time and seasonal employees. A lot has changed since those humble beginnings.  What has not changed is the integrity, quality workmanship, and professionalism that built the Company to the industry leader that it is today.

Our Company began its business concentrating on basement excavation and drainage for agriculture. In the early 1980’s it began to expand into municipal infrastructure and site servicing. Today the Company provides complete installation of all primary services (sewer and water), road construction/reconstruction, design builds and earthmoving activities. In recent years the company has established itself as a top service provider in commercial excavation as well.

Moving forward the Company will continue to develop its skilled and tenured workforce to take on even more complex infrastructure projects within Niagara and beyond. It will reinforce its reputation for quality and customer service within the industry by completing projects safely, on-time and on budget.
